Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation is offering five need-based scholarships

• Pat Sutton Memorial Scholarship: $3,000
 One year scholarship for a Truckee High School student with exemplary community service attending a 4 year school.

• Elenita Sullivan Memorial Scholarship: $8,000
 Four year scholarship for a North Tahoe High School student attending a 4 year school in a health related field ($2,000/year for 4 years).

• Cameron and Jane Baird Scholarship: $10,000
 Four year scholarship for a Truckee or North Tahoe High School Latino/a student attending a 4 year school ($2,500/year for 4 years).

• Cameron and Jane Baird Scholarship: $5,000
 Two year scholarship for a Truckee or North Tahoe High School Latino/a student attending a 2 year school ($2,500/year for 2 years).

• Ed Plaut Jr. Art & Humanities Scholarship: $850
 One year scholarship for a Truckee or North Tahoe High School student pursuing studies in the Arts and/or Humanities field.

• Robert "Fro" Frohlich Memorial Scholarship: $500
 One year scholarship to a North Tahoe High School student "pursuing your dream".

Deadline for all applications is Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at 5:00pm

This community-wide effort enables you to give once and touch the life of nearly every person in our region. Your gift will be combined with gifts from hundreds of full-time and part-time neighbors, and this power of collective giving will provide support for local charities and you can specify the area of interest you would like this gift to benefit. Now, more than ever, your donation is needed this year. Whether it is $5 or $50,000, cash or stock gifts, please know that your donation will be Making a Difference.

All proceeds from the sale of this pass directly benefits TTCF and allows us to support over 230 non profit organizations in our region and beyond.
