Services Provided to Donors

Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation is your partner in philanthropy.  We are available to help you shape your strategy for giving, learn more abut issues facing our region, or simply become more familiar with local nonprofit organizations.  Our Director of Donor Engagement and Program Officer can serve as useful resources for community knowledge and can act as a liaison for donors and nonprofit organizations we offer specialized services including personalized reporting, research, and site visits to funded projects so you can see that your gift is having the intended impact.

Through the Foundation’s general grant making program, nearly 100 nonprofit organizations are evaluated each year and we maintain current, accurate data on more than 250 local charities.  Plus, because Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation is a member of the Council on Foundations and the League of California Community Foundations, we have access to foundation information across the state, the country, and throughout the world to insure your grants go to organizations that are legitimate and effective.

Create your legacy
We can help you establish a fund in the name you choose: to honor a loved one, establish a family legacy, rally others to a cherished cause, inspire them to give, or demonstrate corporate support for the community. Grants may be given in the name of the fund or anonymously. Our Legacy Club honors donors who have included the Community Foundation as part of their estate planning.
