Scholarship Funds

Scholarship funds are a way for you to help others pursue their educations according to certain criteria.  Scholarships can support students based on merit, need, or possibly those who are graduating from a particular school, attending a particular school, or studying a specific subject. For local students, Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation works in collaboration with Tahoe Truckee Community Scholarship Committee to select students and distribute awards.

  • You can establish scholarships in honor of or in memory of a loved one, name it for yourself, your family or business, or to reflect a particular interest.
  • You can make a permanent impact on the lives of recipients, who in turn are very likely to continue the tradition of helping others when they are able.
  • It is possible to provide a scholarship now or plan a gift from your estate.
  • Our volunteer scholarship committee and staff will manage the impartial selection of scholarship recipients, or you may arrange to provide guidance in the selection. Donors may also choose to meet the scholarship recipients and build personal relationships with them.
