Tools and Workshops

It can be challenging to navigate the non-profit world! In addition to providing grants, we work holistically with nonprofit organizations to support them in meeting their missions and enhancing the North Lake Tahoe region.

• TTCF’s staff is available to answer questions, provide basic technical assistance, and point you in the right direction if you need more information on the myriad of issues facing nonprofit boards and staff.
• We also offer technical assistance workshops over the course of the year to help build the skills of nonprofit staff and boards. Past workshops have included board training, budgeting and financial management, and leadership training.
• The Foundation also maintains a small lending library.  We have resource books on topics such as board development, fundraising, strategic planning, and legal issues.  Please contact us or stop by to see if your resource books will be of help to you.
