Type of Grants

There are three main types of grants awarded by TTCF: donor-advised, competitive, and scholarship. Donor-advised grants normally are recommended by donors for specific charitable organizations. Competitive grants come from discretionary funds, where TTCF’s board of directors has ability and flexibility to focus funding on specific needs of the community. Scholarship grants help students meet their dreams. The majority of scholarships held at TTCF are awarded through a cooperative arrangement with the Tahoe Truckee Community Scholarship Committee.
