Donor Advised Grants

The majority of grantmaking at TTCF is through Donor Advised Funds, where donors can participate in selecting organizations to receive grants. Just as nonprofit organizations come in all shapes and sizes, so too, do donors. Some donors give to selected charities over and over again. Some donors ask the Foundation for help in selecting meaningful grants. Some donors focus on innovation, or bringing promising programs to scale.

Grants from these funds are generally donor initiated. From time to time, TTCF staff members may contact you on behalf of a donor who has expressed interest in your organization or issue. The best way for us to learn about your work and suitability for Donor Advised Granting is for you to be involved with the Foundation through participating in Foundation activities.
