Instructions for Creating a Fund
Once you and your client have decided that Truckee Tahoe Community Foundation is the right place, setting up a fund now or by will/trust documents is easy.
- Contact Martha Simon or Lisa Dobey at 530-587-1776 to discuss the types of funds your client is interested in creating.
- Complete the Donor Advised Grant Fund Agreement.
- As soon as the fund agreement is accepted by us, we will return a copy to you and your clients for your records.
Special Notes:
- For funds with a purpose more specific than unrestricted charitable purposes, please discuss that purpose with Martha Simon.
- If your client is contributing stock, please ask to have stock transfer instructions sent to you.
