On the Verge: Emerging Leader Pilot Project Wraps up Year-Long Training Program

How can our community support local nonprofit leaders? Tahoe Truckee just completed its first one-year On the Verge Leadership Incubator program to provide professional development for new and emerging leaders in the family strengthening field. Ten young executives representing eight local organizations completed the intensive to grow personally, professionally, and to fortify their collaborative networks.

Board Governance Series attracts local leaders intent on creating change

Last month, TTCF hosted the Board Governance Series to help local leaders strengthen their skills. Over four workshops, the series covered best practices of board governance including fundraising, strategic planning, fiscal responsibility, and board culture. The excitement was palpable as leaders leaned into the opportunity to learn and network.
