Another record-breaking fundraising campaign for Tahoe Truckee nonprofits

The 2021 Give Back Tahoe campaign raised a record $529,863 from 2,013 donors, surpassing last year’s total by $100,000. Since 2014, the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation (TTCF) has sponsored this fundraiser to raise awareness and flexible dollars for local nonprofits during a popular time for philanthropy. Givebacktahoe.org serves as a guide to more than 60 nonprofits all year long, with extra incentives for donations made during the challenge grant period. By making a donation during the challenge grant period, donors help increase the odds of nonprofits winning a challenge grant of up to $3,500 from TTCF. In real time, the website reflects how much money has been raised, how many people have donated and where each organization stands on the Challenge Grant leaderboards.
