This season, we are sending extra gratitude to our Tahoe50 resort partners for prioritizing giving back despite the operational obstacles they have faced since the start of the pandemic. In March of 2020, the ski season came to an abrupt end when we went into Shelter in Place. In order to reopen for the 20-21 season, the State had a list of protocols that had to be followed including advanced reservations, mask mandates, employee safety requirements, etc. Even still, our resorts generously reserved space for our Tahoe50 program, keeping philanthropy a top priority and knowing how much our community would benefit from this charitable giving. Corporate generosity and collective giving in tough times goes a long way in making our community stronger.
The Tahoe50 Giving Club ensures that our regional nonprofits benefit from TTCF’s grantmaking, training opportunities and technical assistance. In addition to supporting our philanthropic efforts with the Tahoe50 season passes, the resorts are an integral part of our housing projects and deeply rooted in our Mountain Housing Council program to accelerate achievable housing for those who live and work in the North Tahoe Truckee region.
Thank you to our Tahoe50 resort partners, we appreciate you and all that you do:
