This holiday season we are excited to announce a new way to Give Back Tahoe! In years past, many of you received a small envelope to return to TTCF with your Gifts for Good to a chosen area of impact. While this direct-mail campaign boosted our grant-making cycle, more and more of you now donate directly through the web. To better serve you and hopefully attract new donors, the Gifts for Good campaign is evolving into a Holiday Giving Guide on a broader platform.
The end-of-year giving will begin the Friday before Thanksgiving with an announcement to all of North Tahoe-Truckee in our local newspaper, and project co-sponsor, Sierra Sun. In a comprehensive printed booklet and freshly launched website www.givebacktahoe.org, you will find the familiar areas of giving from Gifts for Good alongside specific descriptions of over sixty nonprofit organizations and their year-end fundraising goals. The Give Back Tahoe website celebrates the generosity of our community with up-to-the-minute tracking of donations as well as a Leader Board to see which organizations are receiving the most funding.
Both the print and electronic guides feature our Gifts for Good signature with opportunities to give to TTCF in the area of impact that you’re most passionate about. Dollars will add to the community grant-making fund from which we distribute to our local nonprofit organizations.
With so many opportunities to Give Back Tahoe, it surely is a season of giving and warm tidings!
