Over the last 15 years the Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation and our donors have given more than $470,000 to this impactful organization. In addition, a gift in honor of the Martis Camp Community Foundation has been given in celebration of TTCF’s 15 Year Anniversary.
Since 1998, the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe (BGCNLT) strived to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
The community of Kings Beach and northern Lake Tahoe are proud of the service that BGCNLT provides for youth in our region. This past summer, the Club opened its doors to over 150 kids per day and provided them with fun and exciting activities that helped them learn and grow in a safe positive environment. The Boys & Girls Club served nearly 500 meals daily to Club members, Aim High Students, and any local youth in need of a nutritious and delicious meal.
“The Club is proud to work alongside so many great partner organizations to provide all kids access to an array of opportunities and activities in the summer months. From technology to sports to culinary arts, every child can find something to spark their imagination at the Boys & Girls Club,” said Mindy Carbajal, Executive Director of the Boys and Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe.
