Do you have a straggler IRA?
Are you over 70 ½ years old?
Would you like to convert a tax payment into a community donation?
Do you want to make a big impact in Tahoe-Truckee?
Good news! Congress has extended the tax break for IRA Rollover Gifts! Retroactive for 2014, any unrestricted donations made directly to TTCF by December 31, 2014, are exempt from being reported as taxable income. For retirees 70 ½ years and older, this reduces a host of taxes and penalties, and counts towards your annual minimum distribution (RMD). Donations to TTCF received by December 31, 2014, and any previously made in 2014, will not only receive a tax break, but help shape the future of Tahoe-Truckee! Want a little guidance? Contact us, we are here to help at 530-587-1776.
