The Truckee Tahoe Community Chorus (TTCC) is a group of 50+ adult singers who share a love of music. The Chorus strives to be “The Best Chorus Over 6000 Feet!” and is dedicated to building, nurturing, and promoting a strong choral musical arts program in the schools and within the community. TTCC’s mission is to perform a wide range of quality choral works that will appeal to the diverse community members of the Truckee and North Lake Tahoe region. To help fulfill our mission, the Chorus is offering scholarships to local student musicians. One or more scholarships will be awarded in the total amount of $1,500. Awards may be used for whatever the student needs in his or her future music education endeavors, including, but not limited to, tuition, books, supplies, instruments, or music lessons. Whether you are a singer, composer, conductor or instrumentalist, the Chorus encourages you to apply for this scholarship.
Requirements: Applicants must be a student-musician graduating in the TTUSD area, provide proof of acceptance to an accredited school, institute, college, or university, and demonstrate an interest in furthering their music education. Additional essay required.
Amount: $1,500
