Link Crew peer mentor program comes to local high schools

Link Crew connects incoming high school ninth graders with trained juniors and seniors to support the sometimes difficult transition to high school. Link Crew is part of a community approach to supporting our youth through wellness programming that cultivates connection, resiliency, and healthy relationships.

On the Verge: Emerging Leader Pilot Project Wraps up Year-Long Training Program

How can our community support local nonprofit leaders? Tahoe Truckee just completed its first one-year On the Verge Leadership Incubator program to provide professional development for new and emerging leaders in the family strengthening field. Ten young executives representing eight local organizations completed the intensive to grow personally, professionally, and to fortify their collaborative networks.

Regional Partners Come Together for Housing Study

North Tahoe and Truckee residents are facing a growing wealth disparity in our region. This is especially evident in housing challenges that affect the broad spectrum of our residents. This issue is complex, and the solutions will require regional stakeholders and partners to come to the table in collaboration. We are at the precipice of a 9-12 month regional study with over $170,000 behind it.
