Meet the Staff & Volunteers
Stacy Caldwell, CEO
Stacy is the CEO of the foundation and the connector of ideas to strategy. She spends much of her time in the community getting to know civic leaders, cultivating new donors to TTCF and educating the community on the work of our foundation. Internally, she works closely with the TTCF staff and board to help guide the execution of TTCF’s mission. Stacy is well connected on social media, so tweet her up! She recently moved to Truckee from Dallas, Texas with her husband and three boys.
Ed Bokinskie, Administrative Director
The friendly voice of Ed is generally your first introduction to TTCF. For the past five years Ed has been the Foundation’s problem-solver and administrator. He supports staff and donors through gift processing, tax reporting and ensuring the daily operations of the Foundation are within its mission guidelines. He also coordinates non-profit usage of TTCF’s conference room and facilities. Give him a call if you ever need a place to host a meeting or board retreat! He has lived in Truckee-Tahoe for seven years, enjoys spending time with his family, golf, skiing and mountain biking.
Phebe Bell, Program Officer
Phebe is the Foundation’s direct link with the nonprofit community. She oversees all grantmaking cycles and supports TTCF’s initiatives. Her goal is to support nonprofit organizations to meet their missions through in-depth knowledge of community building and the nonprofit sector. She was a key force in TTCF’s “Speak Your Peace” campaign which sought to bring civility back to public discourse and is an invaluable resource for grant seekers in our region. She enjoys swimming, skiing, hockey and running.
Alison Schwedner, Director, Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee
Alison is responsible for the Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee, a regional collaborative comprised of 40 community based organizations who vision and work together to create a safe and healthy environment for children, youth, and families. She has been involved in the non profit sector in the Tahoe area for almost 15 years and enjoys spending time with her 2 small children and husband camping, cross country skiing and being a part of our wonderful community.
Brooke Rose, Coordinator, Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee
Brooke joined the Collaborative in September 2011.
Kristi Darzynkiewicz, Financial Officer
Kristi is our financial whiz, managing the fiscal practices of TTCF. She oversees the daily operations of our finance department and is the liaison between TTCF and its financial partners. Kristi handles all of TTCF’s quarterly reports, annual audit and tax filings. She works closely with our investments committee and investments advisor to ensure optimal returns. Kristi loves the outdoors and enjoys paddle boarding, running, biking and skiing.
Ann Pridgen, Director of Donor Engagement
Ann works with current and new donors to ensure their personal philanthropic goals are achieved. She carries out the Foundation’s commitment that every donor’s giving experience is fulfilling, informed and easy.
Phyllis McConn, Grants Volunteer
Phyllis volunteered for TTCF as our “non-paid controller” before having to re-locate to Texas in 2007. Fortunately, she (and her family) have returned to Truckee and she now helps with our grants management.
