Meet the Staff

Stacy is the CEO of the foundation and the connector of ideas to strategy.  She spends much of her time in the community getting to know civic leaders, cultivating new donors for TTCF and educating the community on the work of our foundation.  Internally, she works closely with the TTCF staff and board to help guide the execution of TTCF’s mission. Stacy is well connected on social media, so tweet her up!  She recently moved to Truckee from Dallas, Texas with her husband and three boys.

Alison Schwedner, Director, Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee

Alison is responsible for the Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee, a regional collaborative comprised of 40 community based organizations who vision and work together to create a safe and healthy environment for children, youth, and families. She has been involved in the nonprofit sector in the Tahoe area for almost 15 years and enjoys spending time with her three small children and husband camping, cross country skiing and being a part of our wonderful community.

 

Phyllis

Phyllis McConn, Community Impact Officer

Phyllis has been a part of TTCF’s mission for over fifteen years working in a variety of roles including Grants Coordinator, Controller, Volunteer Coordinator, Financial Support, and all around amazing superwoman. She now dedicates her time to community engagement, planning, capacity building, and oversight of grantmaking. She moved to Truckee from Dallas in 2001 with her husband, Rick. She loves volunteering in the community, reading, hiking with her dog, and visiting with her son who now attends University of Wyoming.

 

 Kathy Whitlow, Office Manager

Kathy has a background in Human Resources and is responsible for daily office management. She’s ready, willing and able to be all-around organizer, handy-woman, IT guru and greeter depending on the situation! Kathy became involved with TTCF as a volunteer and donor shortly after moving to Truckee in 2007, most recently working to engage young women in philanthropy through the Queen of Hearts Girls Giving Back initiative. Kathy enjoys spending her free time volunteering, paddle boarding, attending music festivals and loving the Tahoe lifestyle with her husband and two kids.

Ashley is TTCF’s storyteller and oversees our communications. She also supports Phyllis with grants and scholarships, and is the lead for the annual Give Back Tahoe Giving Guide. Ashley initially began with TTCF in 2014. She is passionate about community, writing, travel, and practicing and guiding Yoga. She loves dancing, dogs, hiking, tall trees, and warm beaches.
