Regional Grant Cycle Kickoff and Q&A (Zoom)
Wednesday, August 5 | 8:00–9:00 a.m. | Please register for Zoom webinar in advance to receive link
August is your opportunity to position your organization for both grant funding and year-end community support.
Beginning August 1, registration opens for both the 2026 Regional Community Grant Cycle and the 2026 Give Back Tahoe campaign. Throughout August, eligible nonprofits can apply for local grant funding through one streamlined application while also registering to participate in our community-wide giving campaign this winter. Whether your organization is seeking funding to advance its mission, preparing for year-end fundraising, or both, now is the time to get ready.
We invite you to join us for a virtual information session designed to help your organization make the most of this year’s grant cycle. During this one-hour session, representatives from each participating co-funder will share:
- Their missions and funding priorities
- Why they’ve come together through this collaborative grant cycle
- The types of organizations, programs, and projects they’re hoping to support
- How the Regional Community Grant Cycle is designed to simplify the application process and maximize community impact
We’ll also review the application process and leave plenty of time for live Q&A. Whether you’re applying for the first time or are a returning applicant, we encourage you to attend. A recording of this event will be shared

Nonprofit Board Governance Series
FALL 2026, DATES TO BE ANNOUNCED
Behind every successful nonprofit sits a strong and productive board of directors. The role of board member is one of the most influential volunteer positions in the nonprofit community, and an opportunity to serve a mission to which one is truly dedicated. However, nonprofit board governance is a set of skills that must be learned and practiced.
This four-part series on board governance prepares you with the tools and knowledge you need to create real change in your community. If you are ready to step up into a higher leadership role and guide a nonprofit board, this workshop series is for you. If you are already a board member and want to hone your skillset, this series will give you resources and knowledge to strengthen your board service. Learn about a previous series.
