Three Decades of Showing Up
The Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee (CCTT) has been a pillar for family strengthening in North Tahoe Truckee for more than three decades. It existed before Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation (TTCF), and it works to ensure that all of Tahoe Truckee’s people are fed, sheltered, and connected to the care they need.

One United Voice, Not a Collection of Agencies
At the heart of CCTT’s work is the shared belief that Tahoe Truckee’s people and the organizations that serve them are best supported when we work together. As one of CCTT’s previous leaders often used to say, every one of us needs a helping hand from time to time. CCTT isn’t just a collection of agencies; it is a united voice of over 45 partners committed to co-creating a community where everyone feels safe and supported. By fostering trust and collaboration, CCTT serves as a platform where agencies can move beyond fragmented services to address the fundamental needs of the community collectively.
Our work often involves high-stakes topics like mental health, substance use, and child abuse. Leaning into discomfort means staying engaged in these difficult discussions even when there is no immediate closure, trusting that the process of learning together will eventually lead to better results for families and individuals in our region. -Maeve Donovan, Director of Impact Portfolio, Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation

What Showing Up Actually Built
For more than 30 years, this region has seen the incredible things that happen when we pool our hearts and resources. Together, the collaborative partnerships of CCTT have built lasting initiatives and landmarks for our community, including the creation of KidZone Museum, the evolution of Sierra Community House, and the development of the Regional Behavioral Health Roadmap.
The Next Chapter Starts Now
As CCTT and TTCF look to the next chapter, the new 2026–2028 CCTT Charter is more than just a formal agreement; it is a shared promise to show up for one another with integrity. CCTT partners have committed to bring their best selves and lean into discomfort to solve tough challenges together. CCTT is excited to expand its collaboration based on partner ideas, such as developing shared storytelling around data, mini-orientations for new staff to preserve our history and frameworks, and bringing back CCTT Issue Briefs on priority needs in our community. By building relationships and addressing complex issues collectively, CCTT ensures our region sustains a lasting, healthy system where all community members in the Tahoe Truckee region can flourish.
