To LP Insurance Services, Inc and their Tahoe owner, Randy House, community is more than just an address. Community is where your heart and passion live, and we all ought to support and strengthen our home- especially one as precious and unique as Tahoe.
When Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation unveiled the Tahoe50 Giving Club in partnership with seven local ski mountains, it wasn’t difficult for Randy and LP Insurance to sign up. LP, a commercial and personal insurance brokerage firm, annually gives to more than 50 entities in Nevada and northern California dedicated to a broad spectrum of services. Couple LP’s charitable conviction with its dedication to clients, and Tahoe50 was the perfect combination.
As Jim DeVolld, LP Director of Operations, said, “Everybody wins with Tahoe50! A great foundation supporting a local treasure. Our clients feel so blessed and pampered.”
The fully transferable Tahoe50 ski passes can be shared with whomever the Giving Club donor chooses. Access to Palisades/Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Heavenly, Kirkwood, Sugar Bowl and Royal Gorge is exciting enough, but pass holders also enjoy bonus on-site amenities, events, and benefits.
An avid skier and Palisades Ski Patroller, Randy was immediately on-board: “It’s a great value added perk that we give to our clients and prospects. They pick the dates and the resorts, and enjoy all of the passes’ benefits, which can include Dawn Patrol and Fast Passes. This year, we’re excited about the exclusive dining at Schaffer’s Camp at Northstar.”
Randy House is passion and drive in motion. After growing up in Reno and attending UNR, he began his career at his father’s insurance firm in 1989. After working with several top firms, Randy became a partner at LP Insurance in March 2014. Randy’s enthusiasm carries to his activities which include road and mountain biking, speed-hiking, and Iron Man competitions. He’s also a devoted husband to his extremely bright and attractive wife Cathy, whom he met at a spin class he was teaching.
Randy’s deepest philanthropic passion is for youth development and senior services. He and Cathy have hosted six exchange students, he’s a dedicated Rotarian, and he’s an integral part of LP’s community commitment to Nevada and northern California.
With Tahoe50 Giving Club, LP Insurance and Randy House not only make a difference, but get to share their love of Tahoe with their clients.
