A gift, in honor of TTCF donors the Stein Family of Walton’s Grizzly Lodge, has been given to Child Advocates of Nevada City in celebration of TTCF’s 15 Year Anniversary.
For 20 years, the Child Advocates of Nevada County has extended resources and support to abused and neglected children within Dependency Court in Nevada County through their Court Appointed Special Advocates program.
Their mission is to provide advocacy, education, and prevention services to help our children grow up free from abuse and neglect. They offer preventative services to keep children safe by offering supportive home visiting services through Foothills Truckee Health Babies and school-based education services through Child Safety Puppeteers.
On November 15th, they will celebrate 20 years with their Hearts and Hands dance concert with Lorraine Gervais and will be joined by Founding Executive Director, Bobbie Swanson. For more information please visit www.caofnc.org or call 530-265-9550 x 225.
