The Community Collaborative of Tahoe Truckee (CCTT), a program of Tahoe Truckee Community Foundation, is proud to present an upcoming equity and inclusivity-focused five-part Community Belonging Training Series. This series is intended for public agency partners, nonprofit staff of all types, and Board Members in the Tahoe Truckee Region.
The series will explore key theories and practices related to community engagement, equity, and belonging in nonprofit organizations and build equity literacy and DEI principles into actionable insights. It will culminate in an in-person, full-day workshop where participants create a customized DEI action plan to advance their organizational culture and practices.
Emphasizing engaged learning and hands-on application, each session will combine theoretical knowledge with practical exercises. This will encourage participants to implement what they’ve learned in real-world scenarios within their nonprofits and give individuals at all levels the competency to do so. This training is designed to meet individuals and organizations at all levels of comfortability where they’re at.
While we encourage folks to attend the full series, attendance at all sessions is not required to participate! The four trainings will focus on the following topics:

This final workshop will provide participants with the understanding of when and why DEI action plans benefit teams and organizations, the ability to design equitable organizational processes, and behavioral skills that promote an inclusive team environment.
This training is possible thanks to the partnership between TTCF and the Barracuda Championship PGA TOUR Golf Tournament, which reflects a shared commitment to advancing DEI values and fostering a more inclusive community.
“The Barracuda Championship and the PGA TOUR have pledged to support organizations in our region that are having a tangible, positive impact on traditionally underserved communities. Our team consists of individuals from all different backgrounds and cultures, all of whom believe strongly that TTCF’s Community Belonging Training Series will pave the way for meaningful conversations and activations in the DEI space. We’re honored to contribute to that cause.” Andrea Quiruz, Marketing Director/Corporate Partnerships Manager for Barracuda Championship
